Position Overview: We are looking for a Band 7 Senior Charge Nurse to oversee our active and vibrant Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. This facility operates a 24/7 on-call service, requiring close collaboration with our Lead Nurse for Cardiology, the Senior Charge Nurse for the Cardiac Care Unit, and our interventional cardiology specialists.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in cardiology at Band 6 or higher. While prior experience in a Cath Lab is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement.

Work Environment: This department is fast-paced, providing scheduled coronary angiography and emergency Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PPCI) services. A considerable number of cardiac devices, including pacemakers and Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillators (ICDs), are also implanted here.
