National Treatment Centre - Highland
We are looking for a motivated and innovative qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our newly established NTC-H Team.
The NTC-H is a brand new purpose-built facility that will offer care for both Ophthalmology and Orthopaedic Patients. Situated on the City's University Campus, the Centre features 5 theatres, a 24-bed ward, and a dedicated Ophthalmology Outpatient Department.
The ANP team will deliver inpatient medical coverage for orthopaedic and ophthalmology patients and be the primary contact for all medical emergencies on the site. Opportunities for career advancement will be available, including potential rotation within Raigmore Hospital acute services team.
The shift pattern consists of 12.5-hour shifts, including both days and nights, as well as weekends.
We provide annual learning and development time to support your ongoing education needs and can assist with financial support for obtaining core Masters level qualifications if desired. Successful candidates will receive guidance from a Practice Development Nurse and will have a detailed personal development plan in place.
Applicants must have completed an NHS Highland approved advanced clinical assessment and history taking module at degree level and hold registration with the NMC as a non-medical prescriber (V300).
Full or part-time hours are available, with options for permanent positions, fixed-term contracts, and secondments. An attractive relocation package of up to £8,000 may be offered to eligible successful candidates.
