Inverness, Highland, United Kingdom NHS Highland Full time

NHS Highland is looking for a dedicated and experienced Band 7 Senior Charge Nurse to oversee our bustling and innovative Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.

The laboratory provides a critical 24/7 on-call service, ensuring that our patients receive timely and effective care.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Lead Nurse for Cardiology, the senior charge nurse for the Coronary Care Unit, and our skilled interventional cardiology team.

To qualify, you should possess extensive experience in cardiology at a Band 6 level or higher. While prior experience in a Cath Lab is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement.

Additionally, we perform the implantation of various cardiac devices, including pacemakers and Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillators (ICDs).

NHS Scotland is dedicated to promoting equality and diversity within our workforce and eliminating any form of unlawful discrimination. Our goal is to create a workforce that is truly representative of the communities we serve, where every employee feels valued and empowered to perform at their best.

To achieve this, NHS Scotland encourages applications from all segments of society.
