We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist/Advanced Nursing Practitioner to join our team at Highland Hospice. As a key member of our Senior Nursing and Medical team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-level clinical and psychological care to patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with the Senior Nursing and Medical team to deliver care within our 12-bedded IPU, virtually to our community, and to acute services.
- Provide practical, emotional, and social support to patients and their families.
- Develop and lead relationships with the Hospice MDT.
- Provide on-call provision as part of the medical rota.
- Excellent communication and clinical skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and make complex clinical decisions.
- Professional attitude responsive to changing patient needs.
