Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our team at Care Managers. As a key member of our care delivery team, you will play a vital role in safeguarding and protecting children within our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safeguarding and Protection: Provide comprehensive safeguarding and protection services to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Legislative Compliance: Implement current legislation and policies effectively to ensure the safety and well-being of children, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Collaborate with multiple agencies to provide comprehensive care and protection plans, ensuring a seamless delivery of services.
  • Record-Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interventions and assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Professional Development: Continuously develop professional skills through post-qualification learning and development opportunities, ensuring you remain up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Education and Qualifications: Possess a CQSW/CSS DipSW/Degree in Social Work, or equivalent, and hold a Home Office letter of Recognition or equivalent.
  • Clearance and Registration: Hold satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service clearance and be registered with the HCPC.
  • Experience and Skills: Possess at least three years post-qualifying experience, with a strong background in assessment, planning, and intervention skills, as well as excellent record-keeping and report-writing abilities.
