About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our team at Care Managers. As a key member of our social care team, you will play a vital role in safeguarding and protecting children within Northampton and Wellingborough.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement current legislation and policies effectively to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children.
  • Collaborate with multiple agencies to provide comprehensive care and protection plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interventions and assessments.
  • Continuously develop professional skills through post-qualification learning and development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Education: CQSW/CSS DipSW/Degree in Social Work Home Office letter of Recognition or equivalent.
  • Clearance: Satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service clearance.
  • Registration: HCPC registration.
  • At least three years post-qualifying experience if undertaking role within Adoption Services.

A qualified Social Worker with HCPC registration and a minimum of one year post-qualification experience is required. Strong assessment, planning, and intervention skills are essential, as well as excellent record-keeping and report-writing abilities. Proactive, collaborative, and able to manage a complex workload are also essential qualities for this role.
