Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Child Welfare Specialist to join our team in Northamptonshire. As a key member of our Separated Children team, you will work closely with unaccompanied asylum-seeking children and families with no recourse to public funds.

Your primary responsibility will be to champion and support young people through good pathway planning, enabling them to transition to independence. You will work in exciting and creative ways, fulfilling the personal advisor function and providing guidance on living arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective pathway plans for young people
  • Provide guidance on living arrangements and support young people in achieving their goals
  • Work closely with local authorities and independent agencies to ensure seamless support

  • A competitive pay rate of up to £42,620, plus a retention bonus of £4,000 and relocation support if needed
