Job Title: Strategic Sales Executive

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM

Location: Remote/Hybrid

Role Objective:

The Strategic Sales Executive is a pivotal role focused on driving revenue growth and enhancing profitability through the identification and cultivation of business opportunities with both new and existing clients. This position requires a proactive approach to building and maintaining a robust pipeline of potential clients that align with the company's strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will establish and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations, aiming to uncover opportunities for value creation. A commitment to professionalism and integrity is essential, as is the application of a value-driven sales methodology in all engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outreach to prospective businesses to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Prepare and present pricing proposals to clients.
  • Meet and exceed established monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities using the company’s CRM system.
  • Generate comprehensive monthly sales performance reports.
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within strategic accounts.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of clients' business models.
  • Propose tailored logistics solutions that leverage the company’s offerings to secure business agreements.
  • Foster a culture of integrity and professionalism, employing a value-based selling approach in all interactions.
  • Identify avenues for client growth and expansion.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales capacity.
  • Demonstrated success in business-to-business sales within the Freight Forwarding or Logistics sector.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Active listening capabilities.
  • Experience in team management.
  • Ability to perform under pressure when necessary.
  • Proven track record of sales success and familiarity with sales methodologies.
  • Experience in developing sales strategies and analyzing the profitability of prospects.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to deliver formal presentations.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel.
