Band 6 Specialist Rotational Stroke and Neuro Physiotherapist

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust and University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust are seeking a highly skilled Band 6 Specialist Rotational Physiotherapist to join their team. This is a rare opportunity to gain experience in Neurology and Stroke services, working in a variety of healthcare settings.
The successful candidate will work alongside highly skilled clinical specialist staff from the multidisciplinary team and will be supported by a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in each rotation. The rotations are 12 months long, allowing for the development of skills in each area and becoming part of the team.
Key Responsibilities- Work in Acute Stroke, Stroke Rehabilitation, Early Supported Discharge Service, Specialist Neurological Rehab Unit, Brain Injury Unit, Community Integrated Neurology and Stroke Service, and Acute Neurology
- Develop skills in each area and become part of the team
- Work alongside highly skilled clinical specialist staff from the multidisciplinary team
- Be supported by a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in each rotation
- Participate in a structured support network and receive regular supervision and appraisals
- Attend external training and take an active role in CPD to develop skills within the specialty
- Basic respiratory skill set is desirable, but training will be offered as required
- UK driving licence and access to a car for work purposes
- Ability to work in a community-based setting and across various healthcare settings
