Stroke and Neuro Physiotherapist Specialist

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 Specialist Rotational Physiotherapist to join our team. This is a rare opportunity to gain experience in Neurology and Stroke services, working in a variety of healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities- Work alongside highly skilled clinical specialist staff from the MDT to develop skills in each rotational area.
- Support and train less experienced staff, and act as a clinical educator to students from various universities.
- Participate in rotations in Acute Stroke, Stroke rehabilitation, Early Supported Discharge Service (ESDS), Specialist Neurological Rehab Unit, Brain Injury Unit, Community Integrated Neurology and Stroke Service (CINSS), and Acute Neurology.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of stroke and neurological patients' needs, and contribute to the development of care plans.
- A basic respiratory skill set is desirable, but training will be offered as required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
