Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust and University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust are seeking a highly skilled Band 6 Specialist Rotational Physiotherapist to join their team. This is a rare opportunity to gain experience in Neurology and Stroke services, working in a variety of healthcare settings.
Job Description SummaryThe successful candidate will work in rotations across Acute Stroke, Stroke Rehabilitation, Early Supported Discharge Service, Specialist Neurological Rehab Unit, Brain Injury Unit, Community Integrated Neurology and Stroke Service, and Acute Neurology. Each rotation is 12 months long, allowing for development of skills and integration into the team.
The rotations will be based at Leicester Royal Infirmary and Leicester General Hospital, with the potential to work in community clinics. The successful candidate will be employed by Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust and will have the opportunity to work across both organisations.
As part of this role, the successful candidate will be expected to support and train less experienced staff, as well as act as a clinical educator to students from various universities. A basic respiratory skill set is desirable, but training will be provided as required.
