About the Role

We are seeking an experienced clinician to join our Trauma & Orthopaedic department as part of the established SWAT Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the Clinical Lead and Ward Manager in managing patients from admission to discharge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, caring, and compassionate patient care
  • Support the SWAT Team in managing trauma & elective orthopaedic patients
  • Provide a high standard multi-disciplinary service in both acute and community settings
  • Undertake assessment, implementation, and evaluation of care needs for Orthopaedic patients
  • Work as part of a team committed to delivering and improving a high standard of care within South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust
Requirements
  • RN first-level registration or registered AHP
  • Evidence of postgraduate training relevant to the clinical fields within the specialisms
  • Evidence of well-rounded clinical experience within the relevant specialisms
  • Experience of working as part of an MDT team
  • Ability to problem solve and clinically reason complex patient presentations
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate, and set realistic treatment objectives
  • Ability to produce accurate and legible documentation
  • Sufficient computer skills for job requirements

Working Arrangements

The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly within the working hours of the department, including on-call and out-of-hours/weekends and Bank Holidays. A car driver and independent means of transport are also required.
