Key Responsibilities- Provide effective occupational therapy support to clients in various settings, including acute hospitals and community services.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, using evidence-based practice and occupational therapy models.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
- Conduct assessments, interventions, and evaluations to achieve client-centered goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and activity data, in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
- Participate in research opportunities, critically evaluate current research, and apply findings to practice.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy objectives, aligned with divisional and organizational goals.
- Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- State Registration with Health Care Professions Council
- Member of Professional body (COT)
- Clinical knowledge/training through degree course/work experiences to support Band 5 rotation
- Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team
- Previous Band 5 experience
- Ability to build effective working relationships within multidisciplinary teams and with other professionals
- Ability to work as a team member
- Understanding of professional conduct
- Ability to work flexibly to meet the demands of the service
- Ability to implement change
- Ability to organize and manage self and others
- Ability to manage difficult and distressing clinical situations
