About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in a rotational post with diverse opportunities. This role will provide a unique chance to gain experience and develop skills in various areas of occupational therapy, including acute medical, community rehabilitation, and outpatients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective occupational therapy support to clients in various settings, including acute hospitals and community services.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, using evidence-based practice and occupational therapy models.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Conduct assessments, interventions, and evaluations to achieve client-centered goals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in research opportunities, contribute to the development of occupational therapy services, and engage in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy and State Registration with the Health Care Professions Council.
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team and knowledge of occupational therapy models and outcome measures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work flexibly and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships and work as a team member.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, national priorities, and current professional issues.
