Key Responsibilities- Lead the Reception Shift: Manage the front desk team and ensure seamless operations during peak periods.
- Welcome and Check-in Guests: Greet and check-in guests, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Cash Handling and Credit Card Transactions: Process cash and credit card transactions, maintaining accurate records and adhering to company policies.
- Handle Telephone and Email Enquiries: Respond to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate information and resolving issues promptly.
- Take and Process Reservations: Manage reservations through our Property Management System, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Provide Information and Services: Offer guests information about the hotel and local area, promoting our services and amenities.
- Create a Welcoming Environment: Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring guests feel valued and cared for.
- Upsell Ancillary Services: Promote and sell additional services and amenities, increasing revenue and enhancing the guest experience.
- Liaise with Hotel Departments: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest service.
- Anticipate and Address Guest Needs: Proactively identify and address guest needs, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded.
- Experience in Hotel Reception: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a hotel reception role, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
- Knowledge of Opera PMS: Familiarity with Property Management Systems, particularly Opera PMS, is an advantage.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with guests and colleagues.
- Teamwork and Adaptability: A collaborative and adaptable approach, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
