Guest Service Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guest Service Manager to join our team at the Sandman Signature Hotel Aberdeen. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the reception shift and ensure seamless check-in and check-out processes.
  • Manage cash handling and process credit card transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle telephone and email enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process reservations and provide information to guests about the hotel and local area.
  • Upsell ancillary hotel services and create a positive experience for our guests.
  • Liaise with all hotel departments as required to ensure seamless operations.
  • Anticipate and address guest's service needs to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Experience in hotel reception and customer service.
  • Knowledge of Opera PMS and ability to process reservations and manage cash handling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts.
