Guest Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guest Service Manager to join our team at the Sandman Signature Hotel Aberdeen. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have a memorable and enjoyable stay with us.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the reception shift and provide a warm and welcoming environment for our guests.
  • Manage cash handling and process credit card transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle telephone and email enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Take and process reservations through our Property Management System.
  • Provide information to guests about the hotel and local area.
  • Upsell ancillary hotel services and promote our hotel's amenities.
  • Liaise with all hotel departments as required to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Anticipate and address guest's service needs to ensure their stay is enjoyable and memorable.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a hotel reception or customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Opera PMS is an advantage.
