Exciting Opportunity for a Community Nutrition Specialist

A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a motivated Nutrition Specialist with relevant experience to become a vital part of the Harrow Community team.


In light of recent global events, we have adapted to a hybrid working model, incorporating both remote and in-person engagements as necessary.


This role entails active participation in our comprehensive Harrow GP clinic service, where you will collaborate as an integral member of the primary healthcare team.

This position will enable you to enhance your expertise in managing patients with conditions such as Diabetes, Obesity, feeding challenges, and malnutrition.

The team has a strong focus on Home Enteral Nutrition, providing extensive support throughout the Harrow area.


We have maintained group educational sessions for patients, particularly in diabetes management, which remains a central aspect of our service even during challenging times.

Harrow's diverse community presents a wide array of nutrition-related health issues that require attention.


Additionally, you will be responsible for training various community health professionals, including practice nurses, community nurses, and nursing home staff.

Your caseload will encompass patients in nursing homes and those receiving care in their residences, all while working closely with the team to prioritize nutritional support.

Applicants must possess a full, valid UK driving license and have access to a vehicle for business use (unless exempt under the Equality Act 2010).
