We are looking for a Clinical Nutrition Specialist to join our dedicated team at HCA within London Bridge Hospital, a facility recognized for its outstanding quality of care.

As part of the esteemed HCA group, London Bridge Hospital is committed to delivering exceptional clinical services across various specialties, supported by advanced technology and a professional atmosphere where excellence is a priority.

The Clinical Nutrition Specialist will collaborate with Senior Dietitians to offer specialized nutritional support to patients in Cardiology, Critical Care, and Oncology, with potential contributions to gastro-surgical units. There will also be opportunities to assist in the outpatient department during peak times.

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nutritional care tailored to inpatient needs, ensuring that recommendations are evidence-based and adhere to best practices.

Key Qualifications:

  • BSc in Dietetics or equivalent qualification
  • Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Dietetic Association (BDA)
  • A minimum of three years of experience, including 12-18 months in Cardiology, Critical Care, and Oncology
  • Expertise in teaching the low FODMAP diet for IBS
  • Experience in diverse clinical settings such as nutrition support, weight management, and gastroenterology
  • Commitment to continued professional development (CPD) and capability to lead service improvement initiatives
  • Experience in project evaluation and clinical audits
  • Familiarity with nutritional screening methodologies
