London Bridge Hospital

Full-time Position

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Permanent Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Dietician to provide dietetic care to patients in our Cardiology, Critical Care, and Oncology departments at London Bridge Hospital.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Advanced Dietitians to provide evidence-based dietetic advice and contribute to service development and quality improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality dietetic care to patients in our Cardiology, Critical Care, and Oncology departments
  • Work collaboratively with our Advanced Dietitians to develop and implement dietetic care plans
  • Contribute to service development and quality improvement projects
  • Provide education and training to healthcare staff on dietetic care and nutrition

Requirements:

  • BSc degree in dietetics or equivalent
  • Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and British Dietetic Association (BDA)
  • Minimum of three years experience in a clinical setting, with at least 12-18 months in Cardiology, Critical Care, and Oncology
  • Experience in teaching the low FODMAP diet in the management of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
  • Knowledge and understanding of nutritional screening tools
