We are looking for a Clinical Nutrition Specialist to become a vital part of our team at HCA within London Bridge Hospital, a facility recognized for its outstanding care.

The Clinical Nutrition Specialist will collaborate closely with Advanced Dietitians to offer specialized nutritional care to patients in Cardiology, Critical Care, and Oncology, with potential involvement in gastro-surgical units. There will also be opportunities to assist the outpatient department during peak times.

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nutritional care tailored to inpatient needs, ensuring that recommendations are evidence-based and aligned with best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • BSc degree in dietetics or equivalent
  • Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and British Dietetic Association (BDA)
  • A minimum of three years of experience, including 12-18 months in Cardiology, Critical Care, and Oncology
  • Expertise in teaching the low FODMAP diet for IBS
  • Experience in diverse clinical areas such as nutrition support, weight management, and gastroenterology
  • Commitment to continued professional development (CPD) and capability to lead service improvement initiatives
  • Experience in project evaluation and clinical audits
  • Familiarity with nutritional screening tools
