About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sales Professional to join our team at Atlan. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in helping our customers solve complex data problems and achieve their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build Strong Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within our customers' organizations, including CDOs, Data Platform leaders, data engineers, and analysts.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to customers, helping them to understand the value of Atlan's data platform and how it can address their specific needs.
  • Customer Success: Work closely with our product team to ensure that customer feedback is incorporated into the product roadmap, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth and revenue within our key customer accounts.
Requirements
  • Data Background: Minimum 7 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical data practitioner role, with a strong understanding of data technology and its applications.
  • Industry Experience: Prior experience working with data technology, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities within this space.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in SQL and RestAPIs, with the ability to program in Python, Java, Go, or another language.
  • Strategic Account Management: Experience working with Enterprise/Fortune 500 customers, with a strong understanding of complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Problem-Solving: A passion for solving complex technical problems and finding creative solutions to customer challenges.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
