About the Role

Lombard Odier, a renowned global wealth and asset management firm, is seeking a highly skilled Sales Strategist to join its team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and developing strategic initiatives to enhance the company's market position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of sales results and customer data to inform go-forward sales strategy.
  • Collaborate with senior sales leaders to develop and implement sales plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, data quality, and management information systems.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client and product financials, including trends and watchouts.
  • Improve management visibility of key financial metrics, including team flows and sales performance.
  • Promote best practices in the use of Salesforce and identify mechanisms to mandate its use within sales teams.
  • Define business requirements for changes, enhancements, or new Tableau views, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
  • Build strong relationships with sales team members to facilitate successful work efforts.
  • Liaise with internal departments to coordinate and deliver core business management activities.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects as necessary, providing sales-related business requirements and guidance.
  • Produce ad-hoc sales and business development presentations as required.
  • Creation of one-off and ongoing reports to support sales and business development activities.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience working in a strategy or sales role within an asset management organization.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Technical knowledge of financial instruments and markets.
  • In-depth knowledge of investment fund and financial regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of the mutual fund market landscape.
  • Ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative financial data and provide insightful positioning.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical skills that offer insight into sales results, sales effectiveness, and help set go-forward sales strategy.
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce and Tableau.
