About the Role

The Big Issue is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Support and Outreach Worker. This role is a key part of our organization's mission to provide support and services to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide casework support to vendors, helping them to increase their income through selling our magazine.
  • Positively promote The Big Issue in the local community, building partnerships with third-party organizations and identifying opportunities to support vendors.
  • Work with vulnerable adults in a frontline setting, offering effective sales advice and guidance.
  • Collaborate with the Big Issue Changing Lives C.I.C. to provide end-to-end support to vendors, including sales setup and support, access to health and wellbeing services, and employment opportunities.

  • Salary of £27,570.82 per annum.
