About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Professional to join our team at the National Autistic Society. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting autistic individuals to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support to autistic individuals in a residential setting, promoting independence and personal growth.
- Develop and implement personalized support plans, working closely with individuals, families, and other stakeholders.
- Support individuals in developing daily living skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
- Transport individuals to community activities and appointments, promoting social inclusion and integration.
Requirements
- Experience working with vulnerable adults, preferably in a residential setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals and families.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of individuals.
- Valid driving license (minimum one year) and access to a vehicle.
