As a Senior Systems Infrastructure Specialist, you will provide advanced support to a diverse user base utilizing Windows 7 / 10 and SCCM. Additionally, you will serve as the Technical Lead, guiding and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage incidents and resolve complex issues
  • Offer Technical Lead support to junior staff and project teams
  • Conduct thorough Root Cause Analysis in a multifaceted environment
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Group Policy and AGPM
  • Oversee MECM management relevant to team functions
  • Utilize scripting languages such as PowerShell
  • Implement application packaging technologies
  • Package and distribute software across the Enterprise using Microsoft MECM
  • Operate within established business and security frameworks (ITIL, JSP, etc.)
  • Lead and participate in projects aimed at addressing service challenges

Qualifications:
  • Proficient in MECM Administration, including software distribution, OS deployment, and monthly patches (SCCM)
  • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and VBS
  • Knowledge of software and hardware integration and compatibility testing
  • Familiarity with Group Policy, AGPM, and client endpoints
  • Expertise in operating system build and delivery mechanisms
  • Experience with application packaging technologies, including Application Discovery and Application Virtualization (App-V)

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with application whitelisting, preferably Applocker
  • Knowledge of software packaging and experience with tools such as Installshield / Adminstudio, Orca, and scripting (VBS)
  • Understanding of endpoint device control
  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification
  • Familiarity with software testing using Sysinternals Tools, including Procmon

Salary: Up to £50K
