Job Description

Sopra Steria's Aerospace, Defence and Security business is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Support Specialist to join their team. As a key member of our team, you will provide third-line support to site teams and projects on our established and large-scale account.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Integration and Reporting: Develop and implement integration reports on new software and hardware to ensure seamless integration with our existing systems.
  • Software Distribution and Deployment: Utilize Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (formerly SCCM) to package and distribute software components to the Enterprise.
  • Corporate Environment Support: Provide technical support to our corporate environment, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
  • Third-Line Support: Offer advanced technical support to site teams and projects, resolving complex issues and providing expert guidance.
  • Process Development and Maintenance: Collaborate with the team to develop, review, and maintain processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Business and Security Frameworks: Work closely with business and security frameworks, including ITIL, JSP, and IMM, to ensure alignment with our company's security and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
  • SCCM Administration: Proven experience with SCCM administration, including software distribution, OS deployment, and monthly patches.
  • Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages, such as PowerShell and VBS, to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Software Integration and Compatibility: Strong understanding of software integration and compatibility testing to ensure seamless interactions between systems.
  • Operating System Build and Delivery: In-depth knowledge of operating system build and delivery mechanisms, including Group Policy and client endpoint management.
  • Good RCA Skills: Excellent root cause analysis (RCA) skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Software Packaging and Troubleshooting: Experience with software packaging and troubleshooting application packages to ensure optimal performance.
Desirable Skills:
  • Application Sequencing: Familiarity with application sequencing and deployment.
  • Citrix and Virtualization: Experience with Citrix and application virtualization, including APP-V and MED-V.
  • Endpoint Device Control: Understanding of endpoint device control and secure remote access solutions.
  • ITIL v4: Certification in ITIL v4 or equivalent.
