About the RoleElevation Recruitment Group is working with a leading Global business in the alloys sector to recruit a Sales Manager responsible for seeking out and securing new business opportunities as well as maximising existing relationships.
This is a global sales role with opportunities to travel in the UK, EU and other international markets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities and develop sales plans.
- Manage and negotiate sales agreements, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity.
- Educated to or experienced to degree level (materials / applied science / science essential).
- Proven sales experience in a commodity or technically based product, with a track record of creating differentiation and driving revenue growth.
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to discuss product details with customers.
- Commercial acumen, with the ability to negotiate sales agreements and manage complex relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Desire to grow both yourself and your business area, with a high need for achievement and desire to succeed.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under your own direction and with determination.
- Willingness to travel to visit customers.
