Trainee Site Operations Manager

Job Objective
In this role, you will support the daily oversight of construction activities, ensuring that we deliver exceptional service and outcomes for our clients in alignment with project objectives. Collaborating with the project team and adhering to ISG's culture, protocols, and practices, you will assist in mitigating risks associated with the project and ISG.
Core Responsibilities
Initially, you will shadow the Construction team on-site to gain insights into the role. You will be assigned tasks, participate in meetings with subcontractors, and engage with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance your understanding and broaden your professional network.
As your apprenticeship progresses, you will take on increasing responsibilities, ultimately managing specific sections or packages. Your duties will include:
Coordinating project logistics. Supervising subcontractors executing the work. Ensuring that all work meets the required specifications and quality standards. Maintaining a daily log of activities. Collaborating closely with the Senior Construction Manager and Technical Site Manager to deliver the project. Partnering with the Health & Safety Manager to plan project activities. Reporting all health and safety matters, including incidents and near misses. Identifying challenges and proposing solutions during the construction phase. Reviewing designs, drawings, and project schedules, contributing where necessary. Creating clear and concise project reports. Developing logistic plans and method statements. Overseeing temporary works processes related to the project. Collaborating with planners to create detailed schedules and short-term plans.The Apprenticeship Program

The program includes rotations through various departments to provide a thorough understanding of how your specialization integrates within a typical project lifecycle. We will support you in obtaining a relevant degree and provide ongoing training and development to help you achieve your career goals. Candidate Profile and Entry Requirements
You should possess at least 104 UCAS points from your A-Levels or a relevant BTEC, ideally including a mathematics or science subject, or a construction-related Level 3 BTEC Diploma. This apprenticeship is designed to help you develop expertise in your field, preparing you for future career advancement.
