Driver Operations Trainee

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Driver Operations Trainee. This exciting opportunity will provide you with comprehensive training and development in all aspects of driver management within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Health & Safety Champion: Implement and uphold Arriva's Health and Safety Policy, ensuring compliance with all statutory obligations and promoting a safe working environment for all.
  • Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and complaints, striving to exceed stakeholder expectations.
  • Operational Efficiency: Contribute to the smooth running of daily operations by managing lost property, collaborating with site teams, and supporting the Site Manager in resource allocation.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, trade unions, and commercial partners.
  • Performance & Innovation: Assist in developing and implementing strategies to enhance operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive innovation within the team.
Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Previous experience in a customer-facing role or within the transportation industry is desirable but not essential. A willingness to learn and develop new skills is crucial.
