Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Bus Driver Trainee. As a Trainee Bus Driver, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the safe transportation of our passengers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all passengers receive a high level of service.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the bus route and schedule.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance driving skills and knowledge.
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers and support staff to ensure the smooth operation of the bus service.

Requirements:

  • Must be over 18 years of age.
  • Have been driving for a minimum of 6 months.
  • No more than 6 points on your licence.
  • Will need undergo a drug and alcohol test before your assessment.
  • Will need to pass an English comprehension test.
  • Great people skills.

Working Conditions:

A rotating shift pattern of 5 days in 7, published in advance so you can plan around shifts. A range of early, middle and late shifts which can start as early as 4.30am and finish around about midnight. Overtime available.
