Project Scope: Our operations span both private and public sectors, and we are currently experiencing a robust pipeline of upcoming projects in the East of England.
Role Overview: As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you will collaborate closely with the commercial project team, providing essential support on all financial aspects of the projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and managing commercial information while ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
- Monitoring project progress against established timelines.
- Controlling expenditures in line with approved budgets and forecasts.
- Preparing and negotiating interim valuations and final accounts.
- Formulating and agreeing on claims for reimbursements and loss of expenses.
- Liaising with clients and third parties regarding all commercial issues.
Dispute Resolution Awareness: As an integral part of the team, you will be cognizant of potential dispute resolution implications and will contribute to the development of quality, health and safety, welfare, and risk management protocols on-site.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess some experience in a similar role, preferably within commercial projects, and hold a BSc or HND in a relevant field.
