Job Title: Building /Senior Surveyor (Building Control)

We are seeking a highly skilled Building /Senior Surveyor (Building Control) to join our team at CV Library.

Job Description:

As a Building /Senior Surveyor (Building Control), you will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies for construction projects. You will also manage project finances, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting. Additionally, you will negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, monitor and report on project progress, and ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies for construction projects.
  2. Project Finance Management: Manage project finances, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting.
  3. Contract Negotiation and Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  4. Project Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and report on project progress, identifying risks and issues.
  5. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulations.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with exposure to a range of residential and commercial projects.
  2. Qualifications: Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  3. Skills: Strong understanding of construction contracts (JCT/NEC) and proficiency in using relevant QS software.
  4. Personal Qualities: Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
