Apprentice Building Surveyor

EA Associates is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team as an Apprentice Building/Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial management of general building projects across Ipswich and the surrounding area.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed breakdowns of build costs for each stage of work, ensuring accurate financial management of projects.
- Compile and issue sub-contract orders to contractors, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery.
- Conduct cost and value reconciliations on all items, maintaining accurate financial records.
- Oversee spend on in-house and sub-contract labour, and material procurement, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Prepare Cost Value Comparison (Profit & Loss) notes, providing valuable insights for project stakeholders.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification, or working towards.
- Previous experience within general commercial contracting is highly desirable.
