Job Title - Building Surveyor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join our Property team at Lawes Consulting Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling general material damage losses and assisting with complex building-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial visits and assess damage to a high professional standard.
  • Help establish and agree the defect diagnosis.
  • Progress ensuing all Planning, Building Regulations Party Wall and CDM issues are addressed.
  • Arrange testing (ACMs) and report preparation.
  • Comply with performance and process requirements.
  • Produce good quality reports and presentations.

Requirements:

  • Chartered MRICS qualified.
  • Experience in surveying and claims handling.
  • Customer and quality focused.
  • Team focused and reactive.
  • Proactive and able to meet KPIs and SLAs.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence.
