Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Portfolio Manager to join our team at N Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our business by leading the delivery of strategic programmes and portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex programmes and portfolios, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors, programme and project managers, and other business leaders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and develop strategies to overcome obstacles and ensure programme success.
  • Develop and manage programme budgets, forecasts, and resource plans to ensure effective resource allocation and utilization.
  • Collaborate with programme and project managers to ensure effective programme governance, risk management, and issue resolution.
  • Develop and maintain programme documentation, including business cases, project plans, and status reports.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to programme and project managers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver programmes successfully.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains competitive and innovative.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in programme management, with a strong track record of delivering complex programmes and portfolios.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks, and develop strategies to overcome obstacles.
  • Ability to develop and manage programme budgets, forecasts, and resource plans to ensure effective resource allocation and utilization.
  • Strong knowledge of programme management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains competitive and innovative.
