The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the payroll department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, and providing comprehensive advice to employees on payroll-related queries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain payroll systems, including relevant software and Excel spreadsheets
- Supervise and support the payroll team to ensure efficient and accurate processing of payroll
- Provide expert advice to employees on payroll-related queries, including tax calculations and benefits
- Work closely with the leadership team to develop and implement payroll strategies and policies
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including public sector payroll requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience in payroll management, preferably in a public sector environment
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in payroll software and Excel
