About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Portfolio Manager to join our team at the Department of Work & Pensions. As a key member of our digital community, you will be responsible for managing large-scale projects and driving progress and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of digital projects, ensuring progress and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Provide analysis and updates to senior leadership, including identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders to facilitate business outcomes.
  • Identify future risks and blockers, using data and information to inform planning and delivery.
  • Support the development of project business cases and monitor project benefits against business case predictions.

Requirements
  • Experience of portfolio management or project management within a change or digital environment.
  • Experience of building long-term strategic relationships with stakeholders to facilitate business outcomes.
  • Experience of tracking and reporting progress of digital delivery to senior levels.
Location

You will be based in one of our digital hubs in the UK, with the option to work from home and collaborate face-to-face in a hub.
