Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide expert advice to employees on payroll-related queries, including tax calculations and benefits.
- Lead and manage the payroll team, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
- Develop and implement effective payroll processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll services.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in payroll management, preferably in a public sector or similar environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and stakeholders.
- Highly organized and able to work under pressure, with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in relevant payroll systems and software, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
