Interim Payroll Manager Opportunity

Sharp Consultancy is a leading recruitment firm specialising in finance and accountancy roles. We are seeking an experienced Interim Payroll Manager to join our team on an interim basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the end-to-end payroll process for both weekly and monthly payrolls, ensuring timely and accurate payment to all employees.
  2. Lead and support a payroll team, maintaining and updating payroll records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  3. Prepare payroll reports for management, including reconciliations and variance analysis, and collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure smooth operations.
  4. Ensure proper management of payroll systems and liaise with software providers as necessary.
Requirements:
  1. CIPP qualification (Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals) is essential.
  2. Proven experience in payroll management, covering both weekly and monthly payrolls.
  3. Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
  4. Proficiency in payroll systems and software.
  5. Ability to manage a high-volume payroll in a fast-paced environment.
