About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Service Advisor to join our team at Volvo Car UK. As a Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers have a positive experience with our brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming customers, explaining our services, and listening to their vehicle concerns.
  • Document customer vehicle concerns and pass the information to our technicians for accurate repairs.
  • Consult with technicians about repairs and possible alternatives to expensive work, ensuring that customers receive the best possible solution.
  • Answer customer questions about service outcomes, providing clear and concise information.
  • Liaise with customers to schedule service appointments, ensuring that their needs are met.
  • Advise customers about warranty protections and potential cost savings, promoting our brand's value proposition.
  • Estimate vehicle repair costs and the time required for repairs, providing transparency and trust with our customers.
  • Find new customers and market our car dealership services to them, driving business growth.
  • Verify insurance coverage for vehicles brought to our dealership, ensuring that customers are protected.
  • Arrange test drives with technicians to confirm customer concerns, providing a seamless experience.
  • Resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner, maintaining a positive reputation for our brand.
  • Deal with all customers in a prompt and courteous manner, portraying a positive first impression of our Service Department.
  • Advise on technical queries and concerns, demonstrating our brand's expertise.
  • Book vehicles into the department for work to be carried out, keeping customers informed of progress.
  • Upsell and finalize invoices on completion or work carried out, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Motivated, with a proactive approach to customer service.
  • Enjoy the challenge of influencing the success of our Service department.
  • Customer relations experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with a professional presentation.
  • IT literacy, with a working knowledge of Kerridge an advantage.
