About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Surveyor to join our team at the Shared Services Partnership. As a key member of our Property and Compliance Works team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of fire safety across our portfolio of properties.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders. You will be responsible for conducting fire safety surveys, identifying potential risks, and developing strategies to mitigate them.

We are looking for a confident and experienced fire safety professional with a minimum of five years' experience in the required disciplines. You will hold a relevant technical professional qualification, such as full membership to the IFE or IFSM, and a NEBOSH fire safety certificate FC1/FC2 or equivalent.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fire safety regulations and standards, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct fire safety surveys and risk assessments across our portfolio of properties
  • Identify potential fire safety risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective fire safety management
  • Develop and implement fire safety policies and procedures
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on fire safety best practices
