Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Butler Rose. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in leading and managing client accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Lead and manage client accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Accounting Expertise: Provide expert advice on accounting and taxation matters.
  • Client Relationships: Collaborate with clients to understand their unique financial needs and goals.
  • Team Support: Support junior team members, review completed work, and assist in their training when needed.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: ACA/ACCA qualified or similar (or nearing qualification completion).
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in a comparable role within an accountancy practice, preferably exceeding 4 years.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in accounting and taxation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and client management abilities.
  • Work Approach: A proactive and detail-oriented work approach.
