About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Manager to join our expanding Finance Team at EG Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and identifying opportunities to improve procedures and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage the day-to-day financial operations within the company, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Review and analyze financial data to prepare monthly and annual reports, providing key insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders, operational colleagues, and relevant departments to drive business growth and improve financial performance.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to support effective decision-making, ensuring the company's financial goals are met.
  • Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are prepared on a monthly basis, and all balances are correct and differences investigated.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks to the company, ensuring the integrity of our financial systems and processes.
  • Participate in the year-end audit process, providing support and expertise as required.
  • Lead various project work, including automation, systems improvement, and process optimization.
  • Oversee and produce monthly Board Pack and Profit & Loss Account, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3+ years post-qualification experience.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to changing priorities, ensuring flexibility and agility in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ambitious and self-motivated individual, with a passion for delivering high-quality results and driving business growth.
