Role Overview

We are in search of a Senior Finance Manager to guide our financial operations at Head Office. This position offers a unique chance to manage financial reporting for our expanding business sector.

You will serve as a crucial financial partner for the Executive Management and Board, supervising management accounts, financial disclosures, and ensuring strong controls over accounting processes.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities, with a comprehensive grasp of financial principles, contributing to the strategic direction and decision-making of the organization. You will thrive in a collaborative environment that values innovation and initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee monthly financial accounts, ensuring accurate preparation from trial balance to financial statements for various entities.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.
  • Coordinate and review financial tasks at month-end, quarter-end, and year-end.
  • Supervise the reconciliation process for balance sheets across multiple entities.
  • Guarantee timely and precise financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Plan and manage audit processes, ensuring timely completion and maintaining relationships with auditors.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of year-end statutory accounts in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Establish and maintain robust processes and controls in line with Group standards.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies throughout all tasks and activities.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve financial systems, processes, and controls.
  • Implement the latest accounting standards and policies.
  • Engage in various ad-hoc projects as required.

Candidate Profile:

Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience.

A BA/BSc degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.

In-depth knowledge of IFRS and/or Local GAAP.

Proven ability to ensure compliance with internal controls and audit processes.

Proactive in responding to external business changes.

Demonstrated experience in managing and developing teams within a collaborative and high-performance environment.
