About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Bid Designer to join our team at Impact Food Group, a leading provider of school catering services. As a Bid Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality proposal documents that showcase our company's expertise and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and produce proposal response documents, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
  • Implement document version control procedures and processes, ensuring seamless collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Design and create high-impact graphics and proposal images that contribute to producing winning proposals.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to turn written, numerical, and existing content into compelling graphical representations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product, finance, commercial, legal, and delivery, to ensure proposal documents meet customer requirements.
  • Champion document management and change control best practices, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Provide advice on flow, language, and grammar to content owners, ensuring proposal documents are well-written and engaging.
  • Consolidate sections and/or documents developed by other team members into the required tender format.
  • Maintain and make available master document sets, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Develop proposal graphics that have impact and are easy to interpret, aligning with company branding and visual identity.
  • Ensure compliance with required proposal deliverables, meeting customer expectations and company standards.
  • Create and manage a range of document and presentation templates, streamlining the proposal development process.
  • Precisely control and interpret information flow between team members, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Degree in Creative/Artistic Discipline.
  • Proficiency in desktop publishing software, including Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, Corel, and Microsoft Office.
  • Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Creative and proactive approach, with a willingness to bring forward ideas to constantly evolve our tender collateral.
  • Experience working as a designer for a contract caterer is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience working on tenders in any format is a plus, and video creation skills are a bonus.
