Casual Residential Practitioners for Children and Young People

We are seeking experienced and dedicated individuals to join our team as Casual Residential Practitioners for Children and Young People. As a key member of our residential team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our looked after children.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and young people, their families, and other professionals.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure a joined-up service centered on the child.
- Apply evidence-based therapeutic and behavioral management approaches and practice models to support children and young people.
- Engage in the running of the home, including activities, meals, personal care, and recording.
- Undertake mandatory staff training, attend staff meetings, and formal supervision sessions.
- Provide and promote a safe, stimulating, and nurturing physical environment.
- Hold a full valid UK driving license and be able to transport children and young people to and from school/activities.
- NQF Level 3 qualification or equivalent, with a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care or equivalent desirable.
- Experience of working in a service or provision designed to support children and young people with complex needs.
- Experience of working directly with children and families in a multi-agency setting and knowledge of the roles of other agencies and professionals.
