We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated professionals to join our team as Childrens Residential Practitioners. As a key member of our residential team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized care and support to children and young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, and their families, ensuring a sense of belonging and connection.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals, including social workers, therapists, and educators, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring that the needs of each child or young person are met.
- Contribute to the creation of a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the growth and development of children and young people.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in residential care.
- Experience working in a residential care setting, preferably with children and young people with complex needs.
- Qualifications in a relevant field, such as social work, childcare, or youth work.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on providing high-quality care and support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, young people, and their families.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
