About the Role

We are seeking experienced and skilled professionals to join our team as Childrens Residential Practitioners in Rotherham. As a key member of our residential team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care and support to children and young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, including social workers, therapists, and educators, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the unique needs of each child or young person.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based approaches.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children and young people with complex needs, including those with emotional and behavioral difficulties.
  • Knowledge of child development, child protection, and safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, building strong relationships with colleagues, children, and families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse situations and individuals.
  • Level 6 qualification in a relevant field, such as social work, psychology, or education, or equivalent experience and training.
