Job Title: Service Support Target Operating Model Designer

We are seeking a skilled Service Support Target Operating Model Designer to join our team at Qualserv Consulting Limited. This is a 6-month contract based in Gloucester, with a competitive daily rate of £480 inside IR35 via an umbrella company only.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a local government team, gathering data, developing design principles, and facilitating workshops to align stakeholders on key processes, tools, and frameworks for the new models. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and possess strong analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proven experience (2+ years) working on projects involving process improvement, service re-design, service support, or operating model design.
  • Experience of working in an Agile or project-based environment.
  • Experience of working in a local Authority / other public sector environment.
  • Project / programme management qualification or equivalent experience.
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) or similar service support frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
  • Local Authority procurement, payroll or HR expertise.
